Right of withdrawal and warranty
Cars are sold by SIA EV RIGA (reg. No. 40203346624, registered address: Grenču iela 5, Rīga, LV-1029). Showroom: Grenču iela 5 (1. vārti), Rīga, LV-1029. This page explains delivery, when and how you can withdraw from a purchase, and how the warranty works.
1. Delivery across Europe
You can collect the car at our showroom in Riga or have it delivered to any European country. The delivery price and time depend on the car and the destination, so we quote them for each purchase and put them in the contract. Write to [email protected] or call +371 27 022 994.
2. 14-day right of withdrawal
If you are a consumer and concluded the contract at a distance (for example by e-mail or phone, without visiting the showroom) or off our premises, you may withdraw from the contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The period starts on the day you receive the car.
- To withdraw, send us a clear statement to [email protected]. You may use the form below, but you do not have to.
- The car must be returned to our showroom (Grenču iela 5 (1. vārti), Rīga, LV-1029) within 14 days of your statement. The buyer pays the cost of returning the car.
- We refund all payments, including standard delivery, within 14 days of receiving your statement, using the same payment method. We may withhold the refund until the car is back with us.
- You are liable for any loss in value if the car was used beyond what is needed to check its characteristics and functioning (for example high mileage or damage).
There is no right of withdrawal if the contract was signed at our showroom or the buyer is a company. Withdrawal from a leasing or credit agreement follows the leasing company's terms.
3. Warranty and lack of conformity
The car must match the contract and the listing. If a lack of conformity appears, a consumer may make a claim under the Latvian Consumer Rights Protection Law. The period for used cars is stated in the sales contract and is not shorter than the law requires. We first agree on a free repair; if that is not possible, on a price reduction or termination of the contract. Any manufacturer's warranty applies in addition.
We first try to settle disputes by talking. You can also contact the Consumer Rights Protection Centre of Latvia (ptac.gov.lv).
4. Withdrawal form
